SARATOGA SPRINGS -- Latham-based filmmaker Jeff Kirkendall is coming to Spa City, and he's bringing ''The Temptress'' with him.
|
At 7 p.m. Thursday, ''The Temptress,'' Kirkendall's locally produced film, makes its area premiere at The Off-Broadway Theatre & Grill.
The action-horror story centers around three upstate New York women and their battle with an evil vampire cult. The film runs approximately 70 minutes and is Kirkendall's fifth production.
Before the showing of the feature, several trailers for upcoming movies produced in the Capital Region will be screened.
In addition to Kirkendall's writer-director credits, he has appeared in a number of independent movies and has organized and promoted others' regionally produced films.
''The Temptress'' will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday at The Off-Broadway Theatre & Grill, 86 Congress St. There is no admission charge, but an $8 minimum food/beverage purchase is required. The film is not recommended for children under the age of 17. For more information, or to make reservations, call 587-FILM. |
