On the evening of November 8th independent filmmaker Joe Bagnardi and I hosted A Night Of B-Movie Indies at Albany's historic Madison Theater. The movies screened were my short comedy "Of Theatre & Bikinis", and Joe Bagnardi's horror anthology feature "The Edge of Reality". Both Joe and I were very pleased with the turnout and the whole event, and I'd like to thank everybody who attended. It's great to see such support for independent filmmaking in the Upstate New York area. Special thanks go out to Jay Pregent from The Madison Theater for having us. We were also fortunate to receive some nice media coverage prior to the screenings, including articles in The Albany Times Union & The Saint Rose Chronicle newspapers. I'd like to especially thank my friends at The College of Saint Rose, and those at The Saint Rose Chronicle for their support. Also thanks to the websites who posted information about the show.

Independent Filmmaking - A New York State Library Public Program series presentation for December 2007
Thanks go out this month to everyone who attended the presentation filmmaker Bruce G. Hallenbeck and I gave for The New York State Library on December 14th. Our talk was one in the NYS Library Public Programs series for December, and was held in the Carol Huxley Theater (previously known as The Museum Theater) at
The Cultural Education Center in Albany, New York at 12:15 pm.
We spoke about all aspects of independent filmmaking and also showed movie clips from the independent movies "The Temptress", "Vampyre", "Of Theatre & Bikinis" and "The Drowned". The event was very well attended, and I was happy to see how interested people were in what we had to say on the topic. Thanks for all your support! And special thanks go out to Sheldon Wein from The New York State Library for making the whole event possible.
